I'm Michiel, illustrator and motion designer based in Leeuwarden, working remotely with clients across various industries. Whether for branding, digital or print, I help bring your story to life in a clear and engaging way.
My style is playful yet refined, perfect for content that needs to be accessible and easy to understand.
I love working on projects from concept to completion, turning ideas into strong visuals. Especially when they help people or the planet. Think sustainability, nature, and social impact. I also enjoy creative collaborations with museums, cultural institutions or travel-related brands.
As a visual storyteller, I want to understand the story behind every project. I ask questions, think critically and translate (complex) ideas into visuals that people can understand and connect with.
Alongside my creative work, I founded Level Up Coworking, a small community-driven coworking space for creative freelancers and remote workers. It’s a bright and open place for focused work and making connections.
